Charles Darwin Year 2009

In 2009 we celebrate the 200th birthday anniversary of evolutionary biologist Charles Darwin as well as 150th anniversary of his world famous publication On the Origin of Species. His studies during his voyage on the Beagle to South America and especially to the Galapagos Islands contributed considerably to the inception of his theory of evolution.
