Quito & Galapagos

Day 1

Arrival in Quito and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2

Half day city tour incl. visit to the Equatorial Monument.

Day 3

During your visit on the Galapagos Islands you will see exactly the islands where Charles Darwin stayed: San Cristobal, Floreana, Isabela and Bartholomew, next to Santiago Island.
Flight to Galapagos (not included). Transfer to the hotel. Lunch at the hotel. Visit of the interpretation centre Charles Darwin and Frigate bird hill. Before dinner at the hotel listen to your first lecture about Charles Darwin’s Journeys.

Day 4

Visit of the “ Galapaguera semi-natural” in the highlands and transfer by speedboat to Floreana Island. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 5

Visit of the highlands, the pirates caves and the black beach of Floreana. Lunch and dinner at hotel.

Day 6

Transfer by boat to Isabela Island. Visit of the small island “Las Tintoreras”. Lunch and dinner at hotel. Enjoy a lecture about Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution.

Day 7

Excursion to visit the volcano Sierra Negra with its huge caldera and volcano Chico. Lunch box and dinner included.

Day 8

Transfer by boat to Santa Cruz Island. Visit of the Charles Darwin Research Centre. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 9

Full day-trip to Bartholomew Island with transfer by boat . Lunch and dinner included.

Day 10

Flight to Guayaquil. Airport assistance for departure flight.
