day 1	Quito
	Arrival in Quito and transfer to the hotel.
day 2	Quito
	Half day city tour with visit to the San Francisco Church and Panecillo hill.
day 3	Quito - Otavalo - Quito
	Full day excursion to Otavalo with visit to Calderón en route. Visit to the famous Indian handicrafts market in Otavalo and continue to Cuicocha Lagoon and Cotacachi.
day 4	Quito - Riobamba
	Bus ride to Riobamba along the “Avenue of the Volcanoes” inclusive breakfast at a Hacienda. Visit of an indigenous handicrafts market and continue to the hotel in Riobamba.
day 5	Riobamba - Cuenca
	Train ride from Alausí or Guamote along the „Devil’s Nose“ incl. lunchbox. Continue to Cuenca.
day 6	Cuenca
	Excursion to visit the main sights of the colonial city of Cuenca with visit of a panama hat fabric.
day 7	Cuenca - Guayaquil
	Transfer to Guayaquil, visiting en route the Incan ruins of Ingapirca. Panoramic city tour.
day 8	Guayaquil
	Transfer to the airport in Guayaquil: - for international departure flight or - Galapagos extension:
a)	Cruise Galapagos Explorer II 4 days: Wednesday / Saturday 5 days: Saturday / Wednesday 8 days: Wednesday / Wednesday 8 days: Saturday / Saturday
b)	Island Hopping programme: (6 days / 5 nights) accommodation on 3 different islands: Santa Cruz, Floreana, Isabela.
