day 1

Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel.

day 2

Half day city tour to visit the highlights of the city.

day 3

Day at leisure for own activities.
Optional: Full day excursion to visit an Estancia incl. typical barbecue lunch.

day 4

Transfer to the airport and flight to Trelew. Visit to the Penguin Colony Punta Tombo and then drive to Puerto Madryn.

day 5

Full day excursion to visit the Peninsula Valdés for wildlife observation incl. sea lion colonies and from September until November Whale Watching.

day 6

day 7

Full day excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier.

day 8

Full day transfer from Calafate to Paine National Park in Chile. 2 Overnights in the national park.

day 9

Full day excursion to the National Park Torres del Paine visiting the Laguna Amarga and the Cascada Rio Paine. In the afternoon boat ride to Grey Glacier.

day 10

Transfer from the national park to Punta Arenas. City tour in Punta Arenas.

day 11

Embarkation on the very comfortable expedition ship Mare Australis or Via Australis for a 5 day cruise around Cape Horn from Chile to Argentina. The cruise includes full board and daily guided excursions by zodiacs to visit glaciers and islands and for wildlife observation.
(visit of Cape Horn depending on weather conditions).

day 15

Arrival at Ushuaia pier and disembarkation. Visit of the most southern city in the world and visit to the Museum of the End of the World.

day 16

Transfer to the airport and flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer to the hotel. In the evening Tango Show at „El Viejo Almacén“.

day 17

Transfer to the airport and flight to Europe.
